Introduction
Mr Scott Wilson is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery, with a focus on delivering personalised treatment and exceptional patient outcomes. He graduated from the Universities of St Andrews and Manchester before completing surgical training in both the North West of England and the West of Scotland. He subsequently undertook a high-volume complex and revision arthroplasty fellowship at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where he further developed his expertise in advanced joint reconstruction techniques.
Mr Wilson’s NHS consultant practice is based in NHS Forth Valley, where he provides comprehensive care for patients requiring primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. His approach combines precision, innovation, and individualised care, ensuring each patient receives the most appropriate and effective treatment for their condition.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Wilson has a strong interest in research and medical education. He has presented his work nationally and internationally and has led several teaching programmes and courses for orthopaedic trainees. His commitment to leadership and service improvement was recognised when he was selected for the British Orthopaedic Association Leadership Programme, enabling him to contribute to positive developments within orthopaedic practice.
Mr Wilson is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, British Hip Society, and British Medical Association. Outside of medicine, he enjoys skiing, running, cycling, and spending time with his wife and young family.
